Surprise Suprise my brave attempt to tax my car online has failed.    Should I be suprised?  No I don't think so it was all too much of a dream to think that a Government implemented IT system could actually produce the goods. 

After 4 failed attempts it finally caved in because I havn't got a new style MOT certificate.  Why it couldn't tell me that at the start and save more of my time I don't know.

Now I've got to join the old folks in the queue tomorrow at the post office (what dya mean I should fit in well there).  More waste of my time when I could be doing something interesting like boiling my head or putting my fingers through an antique mangle while at the same time sucking a lemon.

Well thats my rant over I'm going to bed safe in the knowledge of two things.

1. There will be a queue at the post office tomorrow

2. By the time I get out of there I'll be older and poorer and the pround owner of a vastly overprices paper disk.

Of course this all depends on the fact that I've remember the right documents, None of them have expired, they are all on the right type of forms and my Mums birthday falls on a Tuesday.
